Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

The short version: OnePad Kids has no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Everything you set up stays on your iPad. We never receive your children’s names, their app usage or anything else about your family.

This policy explains what the OnePad Kids app (the “App”) and this website do with information. The App is made by Marluna Studio LLC (“we”, “us”).

What the App stores on your iPad

To work, the App keeps this information only on your iPad:

  • Each child’s profile: name, emoji avatar, color, daily limits and rules.
  • The apps you allow for each profile. iOS gives the App opaque tokens for them, not the app names.
  • Session history: when each session started and ended, and how many minutes it counted.
  • Chores, bonus minutes, rest times and your settings.
  • PINs, stored as salted hashes in the iOS Keychain. The App never stores a PIN as plain text.

We don’t have servers that receive this information, and the App doesn’t send it anywhere. If you delete the App, iOS deletes this information with it. iPad backups you make to iCloud or a computer may include it, under Apple’s terms.

Screen Time information

The App uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity) to lock apps and count minutes. Apple processes app usage on the device and doesn’t share it with us. The per-app breakdown in the App’s reports is drawn by iOS on your iPad, and the App can’t send it anywhere.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple gives developers sales reports that don’t identify you.

Notifications

Time warnings and other notices are local notifications created on the iPad. They don’t go through any server.

What we don’t do

  • No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs in the App.
  • No accounts and no sign-in.
  • No sale or sharing of personal information. The App collects none, and the only thing this website keeps is the email you choose to leave for the launch notice (see below).

Children’s privacy

OnePad Kids is used by parents to manage their children’s time. We don’t collect personal information from children, as described in the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The information a parent enters about a child stays on the family’s iPad.

This website

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for a short time to keep the site secure and working.

Launch notice

Before OnePad Kids is on the App Store, you can leave your email to hear when it’s out. If you do:

  • We keep your email address, the language of the page and the date you signed up. Nothing else.
  • It’s stored on our own server, hosted by our hosting provider. We don’t use a mailing-list service, and we don’t add you to a newsletter.
  • We use it for one email, on launch day, and then delete the list.
  • Every email has a link to remove yourself, and you can also write to us to delete it sooner.
  • Please don’t sign up a child’s email. This notice is for parents.

Your choices

  • To delete everything, delete OnePad Kids from the iPad.
  • To manage or cancel a subscription, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information, we’ll update this page and the date above. If a change is significant, we’ll also say so in the App.
